Our client gave us a brief for their back garden which was to have an all year round garden suitable for their children to play in, to have a seating area in addition to the patio. The patio was to be sheltered for outdoor dining and BBQ's. The garden was to be low maintenance, to include screening and privacy.
Espalier trees were planted along the back wall to create future privacy and to provide the client with some fruit trees. A cedar screen hides the garden shed from the seating area. An L shaped raised bed with specimen plants provides a focal point for the seating area which was situated facing the children's play area creating a relaxing, visual zone incorporating a floating cedar seating bench where both children and adults could sit. . Artificial grass was laid so the children could play in the garden all year round. Porcelain tiles were laid for walkways, steps and the patio area.
Planting was to provide all year round interest, shape, texture and colour.

Our client wished to make a visual statement with their entrance. Granite steps and paving a wonderful alternative to concrete. With black metal railings and grey cobble
lock providing a neutral palette, giving an elegant formal look to the hall door.
