Our Garden Design Process
Stage 1 - Consultation
Initially starts with a meeting in your home. This allows the designer to see the garden, orientation, any views that could have an impact on or even enhance the garden, and to discuss the style of garden that caters for your needs, that the garden functions for your lifestyle, and give you the garden sanctuary you dream of and want to spend time in.
Breakdown of site location, orientation, views, exposure, client needs, hard landscaping and planting ideas and budget.
Our Design Process
Stage 2 - Garden Design Plans
The design for the garden is drawn up. The plans include everything you wish for your garden, paths, patios, BBQ areas, privacy screening, seating, planting, lighting, walls, raised flower beds, outdoor kitchens, water features, play areas for the children etc. The materials that will be used. This is where we discuss the plans to ensure that they meet your lifestyle needs. Any tweaks and alterations are arranged at this stage.
The final garden design will be costed up for construction. Our team of builders will build and manage the project from start to finish. All materials and components needed for the build are supplied, including hard and soft landscaping, electrical and lighting, plumbing, and construction.
Our Design Process
Stage 3 - Build
A date for the garden renovation is set. The date can depend on the availability of the landscape gardener, but this will have been discussed at the design stage. The time of year can also be a factor. Sometimes our clients prefer us to do the garden renovation in stages, the hard landscaping first, followed by the planting, depending on the plants selected for the garden.
